Have you ever started a project and thought ‘Who on my team actually has capacity for this?’
For a client-facing business like mine, or any business where your profit is tied to how efficiently you can execute on a project, then the Workload feature in Asana is a game-changer. When used correctly, it can help you to visualise:
- Who on your team has capacity to take on more work or lead your next project.
- Who’s getting overloaded and at risk of burnout.
- Or if the team’s capacity is well optimised, do you need to hire a new staff member.
This is how I manage our team’s workload in Asana for my consulting agency.
