Guest users: can anyone in an organization see a guest user?

Hello,
If we invite a guest to a project, can anyone in our organization then find them if they search for their email and assign them something somewhere else or is there a way to keep this private to only those on a project team?

@Kenna_Robins that is a great question. @Bastien_Siebman was this something you looked into during your research for this posting on guest visibility?

I assume that other project members can see and search for the guest, but I am not sure if anyone in the organization can. I believe you can search for any individual within an organization as a member of any project or team within the organization but I am uncertain how that applied to guests.

I’ve tested it a little. What I’ve establish:

  • member of Organisation can view and search for all guests

  • guest can view and search other guest only if they are “connected” (added to) the same project

  • guest who isn’t “connected” with other guest is displayed as “private user” for him (and can’t be found)
