We are a marketing team that tracks they work by people - tasks, responsibilities, where I am included.
So we use all the possible fields that can add a person somewhere:
- Team & Project member - for people involved in a project
- People field - for people responsible for specific assignment in a project
- Collaborators - for people involved in specific assignment
- Subtasks Assignees - for operational tasks in the assignments
- We have Collective projects where we track all our work (Asignments and Tasks)
We track our work in various fields and data, but the people ones are crucial.
So I am sharing an idea:
At the moment in projects
- we can filter and set a “Me dynamic” option only in Assignees
- we can filter by People field - without the “Me dynamic” option
- we can’t filter by Collaborators
So my suggestion is this - Do you think it would be useful to upgrade the filtering of the People field and Collaborators to the level of Assignees, so everyone in the team can track where they are involved and what they need to track for Weekly/Monthly meetings for example. That way they will not overwhelm with all the information in the pipeline.
