Display Project Budget on Portfolio (and sum)

We are now using the Timetracking And Budget Add-on Module. It allows us to have a budget on the project (by Cost, by hours).

Is there a way to see the project budget on the Portfolio view?

For example, Our Portfolio is grouped by Project Owner, so I’d like to see that “Project Owner ABC” has 3 projects, with Project 001 budget of $1,000, Project 002 budget of $2,500 and Project 003 budget of $2,500 - and the Portfolio view could sum (by Project Owner) to show Total Project budget = $6,000

Hi @Joe_Meehan , yes there is!

In a Portfolio’s List view, scroll to the far right and look for the + icon to add a new column. Search for Cost or Budget to add the new native fields available to Portfolios with the add-on. These will display the data you are looking for, with SUMs at the bottom of each group.

Note that 3 fields will be added per choice; estimated, actuals and totals, either based on Time or Cost, depending on your choice in the project’s budget settings.

And also note these fields are not rollup formulas; they are special native fields that pull data directly from the project’s budget settings. So for example, they can display the total allocate hours/cost from a Capacity Plan (which cannot be displayed using a rollup formula) instead of total hours of a project (which could be displayed using a rollup formula).
