Deactivation of Drag and Drop between sections

Hey everyone,
I am trying to deactivate the drag and drop option between sections in a project. I created some rules and I just want everyone to use the status to be able to move tasks rather than drag and drop.

Is there a solution for this?

Unfortunately it’s not possible to deactivate the ability to drag and drop a task within a project. One thing you could do is use rules to check the status of a task when it gets moved, and if the status doesn’t match the section, then move it back to the section that does match the status.

…or, @Alex_Danciu, you could simply use the Group by button, to group by your status field instead of using Sections.
