We are happy to share that today we’re beginning to roll out dark mode for both Asana’s web interface and for the new desktop application.
We know that this is an often requested feature, and are excited to provide you with the option to view Asana in your preferred mode. We also hope this helps more users get into the Asana flow, as dark mode may be associated with reduced eye strain and easier readability for some users.
This accompanies the iOS launch that rolled out in March 2020.
How to enable: Dark mode may be enabled by going to your profile > My Profile Settings > Display and then toggling to Dark, Light, or “Sync with system settings” under Theme.
I’ve followed your instructions and do not have the option to toggle Dark, Light, or “Sync with system settings” under Theme (there is no “Theme” to work with).
I see you have told another user to wait it out a few days. Is there an ETA? I suffer from horrible headaches and migraines and a having a dark background wherever possible is key.
Hi @anon22008573, thanks for checking in! Dark mode is currently rolled out to 50% of users and we’re expecting it to be rolled out to 100% by Monday June 7 I’ll post a comment on this thread when we’re at 100%
