I’ve been testing out AI Studio project builder and found that I need a way to train the AI at that level for our company. I’d like to program the AI project builder with an instruction manual (similar to "Gems” in Gemini, “Custom GPTs” in ChatGPT, etc.) that the AI references every time someone uses the “Create with AI” prompt to build a new project.
The instructional manual would ensure to follow our specific company Asana conventions, such as:
Task naming conventions
Section Hierarchy
Dependency Logic
Subtask Structures
Is there a way to store these preset conventions within AI Studio so they are applied to the project creation process across our team/company? If not, does anyone have any workarounds?
For something immediate, if you put all your context into one file, then it could be attached to every rule easily, though manually (not 100% what you requested, but a workaround for now):
Thanks Larry, I agree with your solution.
Instructions could also be stored in a “master task”, that would be mentionned in every prompt.
I believe my recommendation for AI Teammates would be a different solution, not connected to AI Studio.
But I feel that’s the one that is the closest to Custom GPT or Gems; as it can be trained to perform certain actions and it even has memory.
Im new to the Asana-Game, but would also a separate Asana-Project a Solution to design the manual. We in our company build a specific Asana Project Conventions for the use of Asana.
Thanks, @Arthur_BEGOU, for your reply; I agree with all those points and that clarifies addressing the OP and putting in “context” AI Teammates.
Welcome, @Johannes.Berlin. Yes, I think instead of Megan putting all the contextual info in a single “master task” and @mentioning it in Guidance, she could use an Asana project if preferred, and @mention that.
I love @lpb ‘s idea of the task reference to store custom instructions.
I’m also curious how you all are using the AI project builder, what are your use cases where it’s added value? I’ve tried and so far haven’t succeeded. I’m guessing as a start my prompts aren’t detailed enough, but I’m struggling to find use cases for it.
