Converted Task to Project

We have a fairly complex project process for our capital construction projects; we have a form that allows our partners to request these large scale projects. After our due diligence and feasibility I’d like to formalize into a specific project. The issue-

When you convert a task and leverage a template; you cannot auto assign the assignee on the per role basis. But if you put the task into the template; you can not honor certain conventions or expectations for names and dates without making the connection brittle.

What options are there to work around this?

Hello @Gregory_Arrigotti - A workaround I have used, and it is a bit more manual. I like to place a comment in the task that needs to be converted and directly link the template that needs to be used. At the moment, you are not able to utilize project roles with the conversion of a task to a template, as you mentioned. However, I can take this feedback to our team here.
