Ok, in one of my projects when a final task is complete it takes that task and turns it into a project using a specific template depending on a few custom fields.
I know normally when you create a project you’re able to assign roles, but is it possible to have roles be assigned when my project is automatically generated from the task/template?

Unfortunately, there is not a way to assign project roles when converting a task to a project via template. Nor can you assign roles when manually converting a task to project.
From my understanding, the Project Roles as they implemented in templates are intended solely for the purposes of auto-assigning tasks to people when creating a project directly from a template. I’ve not ever found a way to work around that.
