I am trying to colour code my critical path and multi year project timeline to clearly indicate which tasks and deadlines apply to which group and subcategory. I have managed to colour the sections together by create a single select and selecting a colour field and that seems to work. However, I want to clearly separate the tasks and their sub-groups with colour. Is this possible and if so how would this be achieved? Is there an easier way to do this and display tasks over a long time period. I require this to be used in the half-year / year display.
I would like the sub-categories to follow the colour pattern pf the filtered groups I have created. For example, on the timeline I have attached, instead of Tasks 4 - 8 being all yellow, I want 4-6 to be pink and 7-8 to be purple to follow the colours as they are in the list view Thank you.
