Hi,
Is it possible to change the color of the text of a task itself? I know you can add colored tags, but even adding one colored tag does not change the color of the task itself to match.
Is this possible?

It is not possible to colour tasks per se, however you can utilize custom field options that are coloured for example, as explained here .

I would love if Asana were to add the option to colour code the tasks according to urgency and importance as some tasks do not have a due date but they are important and should be done as soon as possible whereas some tasks are not as important and I can be lax about them. The colour coding, if added should have the option to assign colours the user is comfortable with to different urgencies. I really hope this feature is added, it would be extremly helpful.
It would be fantastic if you could select a colour for each task as you view it on the board (colourise the whole box or a thick colour bar on the side of each task). For instance I could use colours to differentiate priority, urgency, location, person etc.
The white boxes are quite dull and boring and its easy to miss tasks, using colour almost like you do with post it notes would help people that respond to colour better than text.
