I created a handful of reoccurring tasks in my “My Tasks”>Tasks section but would now like to move them to their own “Weekly” section of my My Tasks. I can move them initially, but when I check them off, they repopulate for the next week in the Tasks section where they were created. Is there a way to make it so they repopulate in the Weekly section instead of having to move them there every week?

At this time, we have 2 options for where recurring tasks can populate: Recently Assigned or the last Section of your My Tasks page.
You can choose between the 2 option in your Profile Settings > Hacks.
