Adding that I use the calendar view of my tasks 99% of the time. While the tasks have color codes tied to the boards, and a tiny square based on other things… I’d really love to have more control over the color on my calendar view board AND a few more color choices. I have a lot of tasks some days in the same color and want to help prioritize them better.
Can someone explain why this is not being considered as a quick win? what am I missing? Seems like a straight forward ask but I could be wrong. Any insights into why Asana does not allow this feature would be helpful. Thanks!

I am having a hard time. Switching between Asana and trello is like night and day. It is so dull i cant wait for my current Asana project to be over.
I hope you enable us to set backgrounds, colors for cards in the future.

Generally, threads are updated when there’s new info, so likely nothing yet, and the roadmap is not published, but Asana does take in all these requests into their planning process.

Hi…it would be really helpful to been able to color code task (not just a tag).
When you have several task in a pipeline, splitted on different tag types the board becomes almost impossible to read and having a color background on each task would be immensely helpful to have a quick feedback on what is where and to organize them and manage them.
Even a colored banner on top of each task would be great.
Is it something that asana developer could take under consideration?
Cause I read many people asking this since years ago and I’m not sure if to ask this anymore or not. Anyway, thanks.

We’re in 2024 and I think this has not been implemented yet, but it would be a great idea!
