Automatically creating dependencies when subtasks are assigned

Hi Folks!

I’ve set up a rule so that when a task is added to a specific section, a set of subtasks are automatically created. However, I haven’t been able to figure out how to make those subtasks automatically become dependencies of the parent task. I want to ensure that all subtasks are completed before the parent task can be marked as done.

Has anyone found a way to make this work? I’d really appreciate any suggestions!

Right Now I have a project with a rule in place that creates subtasks for a main task when a custom field option is selected, and these subtasks are given a relative due date based on the due date of the main task.
