Asana on older version of Android

Hi
i have Xiaomi MI MAX phone, which seems to be on android 7.0
Says app not compatible with my phone, wondered if there may be a way for me to use it on that phone?
e.g. download older version of asana and install ( would it likely ask me to update and then not work anyways?)
upgrade andorid or maybe some other OS? seems like i would need to get a custom ROM to be able to update android on that phone which seems to be a bit of an overkill

any suggestions would be greatly welcome

@LucasP, I’m afraid having Android 9 or above is a firm requirement for using Asana on your phone.

You could search elsewhere about whether there’s a practical way to achieve that with your phone, unless someone else happens to know and replies here.
