I should have specified that it works fine on the Chrome. the desktop app is the issue.
If your ASANA is super slow in loading projects etc, try TURNING OFF DARK MODE !!!
I was having this issue for 2 +years - and looked and looked for solutions.
I just turned off Macbook Pro Dark Mode in the Settings and it is now super fast, hallelujah. I hope it lasts.
I truly hope it helps as ASANA is an amazing tool and kills productivity when its slow.

My desktop app takes ~60 seconds to load completely (on a great network) in Chrome.
For example, clicking a link from an email will open a new tab and load all the visual elements.
… mean I’m not clicking any links in emails any longer.
A solution for this would be great.
Major issue. Makes me reconsider Asana…

It’s still the same for me on different devices and in different networks. I have to reload every 10 minutes to keep asana working. Is there any solution in sight?
