Is this being introduced as a new product tier? If so, are there any differences between this and one of the existing tiers?

Good question @Jeremy_Long! Yes, Asana Gov is a separate instance or version of Asana built specifically with extra security / compliance and licensing for government or regulated-industry use, but still part of the Asana ecosystem.

What “separate” means in this context

  • Asana Gov is built for government / highly regulated use: it includes additional security, compliance, and data-protection measures (e.g. FedRAMP compliance, audit logs, stricter access control, encryption, etc.) that go beyond what standard Asana offers.
  • Some regular features of Asana, for example, Asana AI tools, integrations with certain third-party services, and personal access tokens may be disabled or limited by default in Asana Gov, to preserve compliance/security.

I hope this helps! If you need more details, don’t hesitate to reach out to via asana.com/sales.
