We use a ‘Time spent’ custom field in our project template. Using advanced search, I’ve put together a report including all completed tasks with any value against Time Spent. The problem I’ve got is that the results include not just current projects in development but also the ones that have been archived - mostly because they were put on hold or completed. This means I’m not getting a true picture of how much time has been spent on projects in this session.

My assumption for “Archive” is that the task would no longer show up in my list of things to do (My Tasks). Archived projects should no longer show up in search or in tasks as the project is not active, but archived.
As an example, I work with clients on a monthly basis. We plan tasks for next month, two months out, three months out, etc. If a client cancels after the first month I want to archive their project so it doesn’t show that it needs to be done.

We are trying to implement using the universal reporting features for our organization, but it is not useful to us at this time because it includes archived projects and the tasks contained within those projects. There should be a setting option when creating the reporting dashboard/charts to include or not include archived projects/tasks in the data.

Ein Workaround derzeit wäre archivierte Projekte in ein spezielles Team zu schieben. Klar du müsstest dann auch die Tasks via multi-select vom anderen Projekt entfernen (falls die Tasks zu mehreren Projekten hinzugefügt wurden)
