I want to add a PNG file or icon to a comment on a particular task
Is it possible to do this using the API ?
That’s a great question; I don’t know how you would do this via the API, I don’t see a way to do it.
@Ross_Grambo, @Bastien_Siebman, @Frederic_Malenfant or anyone else, know of a way?
I was curious so I just tried… In the asana UI, we clearly see that the attachment is linked to the comment.
But, in the API, the same comment / attachment have no link between them.
Also, there’s no “story” about the new attachment!
Only the comment is in the stories.
The attachment is like any other attachment in the “task.attachments” collection, and it has never been uploaded by anyone.
And, I don’t think there’s a way to upload an attachment to a story in the API.
