I attended the Asana Innovation Summit in NYC. One of the Asana employees at a booth mentioned that tags will be phased out eventually and to use custom cells. Is this true?
That hasn’t been announced.
Tags were an early feature before Custom Fields existed and haven’t been enhanced for a long time, but have remained supported over this long period.

I talked with a PM recently and they said that there wasn’t any plan to remove them.
