Is there a way to set an automatic ID to tasks in a project?

Not natively, unless you’re OK using the task ID from the URL. There are workarounds if you don’t mind using connector tools like Flowsana or Zapier.

It would be awesome if Asana had this. From a creative brand team, we like to assign an ID number to every project. We’ve had to do without unfortunently.
