Adding attachments to a story

I don’t think so. There were several threads on this overall topic; they were more in terms of getting, not posting, but I think the conclusion is that the API currently doesn’t have the ability to associate attachments with specific comments/stories, either to read or write:

API to fetch embedded attachments and comments in task

I need api to fetch the embedded comments and attachments of a task. Currently i can fetch only the comments not the attachments. seems to be data loss while fetching stories via API. Please provide a way to fetch both attachments and comments in a single api.
