We’re looking to use the "Actual Time" timer to track time spent on tasks within a project. We can currently export both the time entries CSV and the project tasks CSV, but we’re missing one key piece of information.
What we need is the precise date and time that an assignee started and stopped work on a task. This may happen multiple times over several days, so we’re looking for the full history of each timer session for that one task.
At the moment, we can see the date and the total time recorded for a task, but not the granular start/end timestamps for each time entry. As far as we can tell, this information isn’t available in the standard CSV exports or via the API.
This level of detail is critical for our business and reporting requirements. We have tried to consider other work arounds in asana but its not been possible to get this data.
Is this something in development or as part of a future update? If it is, is there a date that this would be available?
