Sort tasks by the order in which the status dropdown is entered, so a customized sort. For example: Tasks and subtasks can be sorted first by Not started, then in process, then waiting, then complete.
This would also solve the issue where completed subtasks could move to the bottom of the subtasks list, so you don’t have to keep scrolling to the bottom of the list to find your subtask.
