Ability to sort custom field options alphabetically (ascending/descending order) automatically in the settings available upon custom field creation

Yes please! My team has a few single select fields with long lists (150+) of options that need to be added to every few months.
Just had a stakeholder reach out today that they couldn’t find their name on a form using one of these fields (list of reps), when in fact it was already in the list; it was just added at the bottom and waiting for someone to manually drag it into its alphabetical position, where the user expects to find it.

Also adding my voice and vote to this one. Why on Earth is this not possible?

Adding my name to the list. Some of our teams have custom fields with 50-100 entries, and new ones getting added frequently. The ability to click a single button to alphabetize the field options instead of forcing users to drag and drop these options to reorder them manually. Would also work great for CSV imports where field options aren’t ordered from the jump and I want to clean up my data after import.

Would like this option as well.

I’m honestly surprised this doesn’t exist yet. I have a list of items in a custom “project” field. As projects get added, which of course they do, I have to either sing the alphabet song or plop them at the bottom. As a user, this is annoying :slight_smile:
