Hi @Joanna_Yiptatchung!

That is a great question! As it stands, it’s not possible to import sections for subtasks using the CSV importer.

If it’s OK with you I’m going to move this thread to the #productfeedback category to allow other users to support this idea. I would also recommend you to upvote it!

Thank you for reaching out Joanna. Have a nice day!

Would be useful to enable sections headings in subtasks to be uploaded when using CSV importer.

Hi @Joanna_Yiptatchung, thanks for your feedback!

I see we have a existing feedback related to this topic! I’ve gone ahead and merged your thread with Ability to import Sections for subtask with CSV importer to avoid duplicates. I hope you don’t mind!

haha looks like i raised the original request!

Oh that’s true! No problem at all, I’ve sent your feedback to our Product team so it can be considered in future updates. I’ll update this thread as soon as I have any news. Thanks again @Joanna_Yiptatchung

Hello, I’m trying to create a subsection during CSV import. None of my current attempts have succeeded. If I have a task, with a subtask, how would I create a subsection within the task at a position above the subtasks - It’s basically being used as a header.

Hi @Dave_Owens1,

I merged your question with an existing thread on that topic. It’s not currently possible but you can add your vote at the top of this thread.

Thanks Phil. I’m surprised this isn’t a thing. Instead, how can I convert a subtask to a subsection. If I have the csv create the correct (what will be) header, I could just go through the tasks and update them to be Subsections. However, the tab-N shortcut just seems to make a new one…

@Natalia is it still not possible to do this or were you able to add this feature over the last months?

We are looking forward to your feedback
