It would be helpful to have the option to archive project templates instead of permanently deleting them.
Currently, templates marked as private may still appear in the team’s template view to users who do not have access. Although those users cannot open or use the templates, seeing them creates unnecessary clutter and confusion especially when templates are outdated, seasonal, under development, or intended for only a small group.
Ideally, Asana would provide one or both of the following options:
-
Archive a project template so it is removed from the active team view without being permanently deleted.
-
Hide a private template from users who have not been granted individual access.
Archived templates should remain available to authorized users and administrators, with the option to restore them later. This would make template libraries easier to manage while preserving templates that may be needed again.
