Overcoming Disruption in a Distributed World - Feb 25th @ 10am PT - 1pm ET - 6pm GMT

Asana recently launched The Anatomy of Work Index 2021, which surveyed over 13,000 knowledge workers from around the world. The report uncovers how work changed—like how 1 in 4 deadlines were missed in 2020, yet 87% of employees reported working late—and ways to make 2021 a more productive and effective year for teams.

Join our webinar on February 25th to hear from Dr. Sahar Yousef, Cognitive Neuroscientist at University of California, Berkeley, who helped generate the insights in our report. Dr. Yousef, who runs the Becoming Superhuman Lab, will dig into the challenges of distributed work and share solutions for organizations, including:

  1. Preventing burnout and how leaders can proactively improve team engagement and morale.
  2. The myth of multitasking and how to reclaim deep focus.
  3. The rise of imposter syndrome among workers and the need for explicit recognition and measurable progress in a remote world.

Dr. Yousef’s presentation will be followed by a conversation and live audience Q&A with Paige Costello, Product Pillar Lead. They’ll explore how individuals, teams, and entire organizations can bring clarity to the chaos of work and thrive as they move forward.

This was wonderful, thank you.

Dr. Sahar was going to provide some research on topics such as the myth of multitasking; is that still coming?

I am curious as to if Asana is going to aid us with the MITs?

Possibly click tasks in our My Tasks to select and that takes us into a special mode where we only see those tasks (no inbox, no teams, no other projects) for a ‘heads down’ mode with a timer.

Asana can start suggesting tasks for us to do.

  • Clean out your inbox for 5 minutes (if Asana detects a backlog)
  • Here are three tasks due today, let’s focus on them
  • 5 Minutes answering questions (shows @mention tasks)

I think given some thought and a splash of AI, this could become a really good tool.

Perhaps build a Priority (80/20 rule) into the task directly (not a field) and that will help guild the MITs as well as the AI. Perhaps this task has a color band around it showing its importance (board/timeline view) or the topography is unique (list view).

Love these suggestions @Getz_Pro!

I often use tab+X to remove distractions during focus blocks. Being able to incorporate AI and enter into a mode with ancillary benefits would be really cool!
