History Log for Project Descriptions

We would find a History Log for project descriptions, similar to tasks, very useful. It would let us track and review changes made to project descriptions over time.

Benefits:
• Easy tracking of changes and updates.
• Better documentation and transparency in project briefings.

Use Case:
A History Log would assist in maintaining accurate project briefings by documenting all updates.

We are looking for something similar that we can take into a Change Log. We’ve created our own using rules but it would be nice if there was something a bit more automated. For example, we have rules set up whenever we change a user’s M365 licence to do the following:

  • Create a new task.
  • Rename the task to describe what was changed, when and by whom.
  • Complete the task.

This works fine for one application and allows us to track changes, but means that we have to create new rules for every new application.
