Hey everyone! ![]()
I manage my entire sales process in Pipedrive, but all my time management, daily planning, and operational tasks live in Asana.
Right now, there is a basic integration that allows an activity created in Pipedrive (for example, “Write Commercial Proposal”) to trigger and create a task in Asana. That part is great, but that’s exactly where the magic stops. It only creates the task; it doesn’t keep it updated.
The Problem:
If the client reschedules and I change the due date in Pipedrive, the Asana task stays in the past. If I complete the task in Asana, it remains open in Pipedrive. It’s a one-way street, which means I end up having to update the exact same task in two different tools.
What we really need:
A true bidirectional (2-way) sync for tasks between Asana and Pipedrive.
If an activity is created or updated in Pipedrive, it should update in Asana. And more importantly, if I am organizing my day in Asana and I mark that “Write Proposal” task as complete, it should instantly complete the associated activity inside Pipedrive.
Having this real-time, two-way update would perfectly bridge the gap between our Sales and Operations teams.
Who else uses Pipedrive and is tired of updating tasks twice? Let’s get this voted up! ![]()
