Created custom field for tracking hours, how do I get it to appear in dashboard?

I have created a custom field for hours of each task in our projects
However, I do not seem to be able to add that custom field into the dashboard to generate a recurring report on occupancy - any advice?

Welcome, @anon53222162,

Edit the custom field in question and at the bottom make sure the checkbox “Add to [org]'s field library” is checked. That should make it possible to you to add a number chart with it.
