Create "events" on calendar instead of Tasks?

Hi,

I have certain events that happen on a monthly basis that I’d like to mark in my calendar in Asana but they are not Tasks. So is there a way to mark an event - for example, payment made by Client - on my calendar without turning them into tasks that I have to check off etc?

Welcome, @David_Gaskin,

I’m afraid only tasks can appear on a calendar.

If you’re using a project with the Calendar tab, you could give users “Commenter” access and the tasks on the calendar wouldn’t appear with a completion checkmark.

Often we use Asana tasks to represent many things other than tasks: events, clients, resources, documents, etc.
