Asana App in Slack has changed in Asana

Everyone at my company has the Asana App integrated into their Slack. This is how we stay on top of notifications and figure out if we need to take action in Asana or just need to be informed.

Recently the app has changed, and now we constantly have the notifications showing, even after reading. It also opens into “history” not “chat” so everyone is now coming to me confused.

Did an update happen? Can this be fixed on an org level somehow? Below are screen shots of a notification when I have seen this comment multiple times. and the “history” it drops you into.

While we support the Slack integration, we attempted to reproduce this issue on our end but were unsuccessful. As a result, I’m unable to escalate it as a general bug.

I recommend reaching out to our customer support team—they can investigate further and help determine why this is happening in your organization.
