Always show full absolute date instead of relative date like "X days ago"

Thanks. but seeing this thread with no movement from 5 years ago sends red flags. If this is the norm instead of the exception, I think I have my answer.

If this one particular request is critical for you, then it wouldn’t be prudent to count on it.

But if by “red flag” you’re using the extrapolate, I’d be cautious. Years-old requests are addressed from time to time, some have recently been promised as being on the roadmap, and overall I’ve never seen Asana improve at the velocity we’ve seen over the past couple of years.

When I review comments, it has notes like 7 days ago, etc. Is there a way that can just say 7 days ago followed by the date? That would help my brain a lot. Thanks!

I see the benefit here. I would prefer an option to toggle between modes and set a default mode that applies to all comments (stories) for myself globally.

Similar to how you can do in tools like Notion.

Until/if this happens, note that you can hover your cursor over the “7 days ago” to see the actual date.

Due dates are currently displayed as relative dates such as “Today”, “Tomorrow”, or “Saturday”.

Is there a setting or another way to always display them as absolute dates, such as 2026-07-25 (Sat) or YYYY-MM-DD, instead of relative dates?
