Heather Lydon is a proud Asana Together Ambassador, and has been telling everyone about Asana since she started using it a few years ago.
Although fairly new to the great Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon, Heather most recently served as Director of Operations for Atlanta CareerRise, a workforce collaborative managed by the United Way of Greater Atlanta. In this role, Heather supported the mission of meeting employer needs for talent and connecting Atlanta residents to sustainable careers.
Before CareerRise and United Way, Heather managed the opening and daily oversight of Carrollton, Georgia’s first Goodwill Career Center, which annually connected 3000+ area residents to jobs and vital community resources. During her time with Goodwill, Heather was nominated and selected by the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce as a 2011 World Class Employee. A previously certified National Career Development Association Global Career Development Facilitator, Heather still lends much of her free time to coaching job seekers in achieving their career goals.
Heather is not only passionate about the empowerment of others, but is dedicated to promoting green business practices. Heather previously served on various projects as a board member with multiple Keep Georgia Beautiful affiliates, including Keep Carroll Beautiful, where she helped establish the county’s first Green Business Initiative.
Heather recently completed the Fall 2017 GeorgiaForward Young Gamechangers Program and the 2016 Atlanta Regional Commission Regional Leadership Institute. Heather holds a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from Valdosta State University (VSU).
