Global thinker and strategist, Cynthia Rothschild Jaggi, thrives at the crossroads of entrepreneurship and economics, with the vision for her work simply stated: to shift the world’s economy. The cofounder of Living Economy Holdings has built a collaborative and intentional hive of impact-centered companies, currently focused in the areas of regenerative agriculture, controlled environment agriculture, place-based economic development, financial innovation, and new forms of education, media, and technology.
“My life’s work is to co-create a living economy with people and planet at the center,” says Jaggi, “investing in and growing businesses where financial success creates social change.”
As the first employee of the Inc 5000 management consulting firm Fitzgerald Analytics, Jaggi worked to build the firm with the managing partner, focusing on the financial services, technology, and automotive sectors. As a partner, she co-founded the Social Sector practice for the firm, and worked to expand the reach of leading social innovation members of the New Profit portfolio. In another prominent role, she chaired the Advisory Board on Client Data Management for Catholic Charities USA, whose network administers more than $720 million in social services each year.
Jaggi holds an M.Sc. in Environmental, Socioeconomic and Technological Planning, and has been engaged in environmental and social issues ever since living and studying at the Chewonki Foundation in her teens. She currently speaks internationally, and serves as a Lead Ambassador for Lean Startup Co., for her work bringing “lean” to the intersection of business, finance, and social impact.
