OKRs are often just measured by a binary option, checkbox or a yes or no field. Either the key result is accomplished, or it isn’t. Working around it by having a target of “1”, but a true yes / no or checkbox option would be cleaner.
Yes this is what we are doing with 100 or 0. We sometimes suggest our clients to count how many weeks the goal was reached and use the number of weeks as a tracked value. For example, if you reached the goal this week you can change 12 to 13 over 52 weeks.
