Allow Advanced Search Operators

Google Chrome allows for creating custom search engines, but it relies on being able to pass search string through URL. Asana doesn’t allow that.

Totally agree! Would be very helpful

When searching in any search product as as Google (or any other popular search engine) or Google Drive, Dropbox, Gmail, and such they support common practices in searching.

Google mentions a few of the common ones and other sites provide more exhaustive lists.

Would love to see Asana support these common search conventions. To note, like Google advanced search and other products but default it should continue to show the visual interface for people who prefer that, but for power users being able to simply type an advanced search without having to use the mouse to manually select things is far superior.

Such as team:marketing “New Leads” -lowvalue label:dog project:mycuteproject,-myuglyproject etc… Or if there is an existing list of search operators perhaps someone could provide and we can suggest adding missing common search operators?
