Why can I create a circular dependency of three tasks?

In Asana it seems possible to create three tasks in a circular dependency. I am not sure if this is a bug or not. I did it by creating three tasks: 3 dependent on 2, 2 dependent on 1, 1 dependent on 3.
It is however not possible to create 2 tasks depending on each other.

Is this functionality intended?

I believe this is not a Bug but actually a product limitation. I’ve gone ahead and made a note to our Development Team to consider this behaviour for future improvements.
