Where is 'sent messages'?

Hi,
‘Messages I’ve sent’ as a starred search is not showing any comments I’ve left on projects, is there a way to see this?

Any vis also on when ‘sent messages’ is formally being reinstated @Emily_Roman ? This seems like a crucial feature to have disabled. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum, @Erin_Floyd! Messages and comments are different things in Asana. To which are you referring? (or is it both)

If you are just looking for messages you authored, you can find that via your inbox (messages I’ve sent) or the search. If you also want your comments, you can search for things you commented on (it won’t list them as the individual comments, it will show your tasks/messages on which you commented): advanced search > more filters > people > commented on by

Thanks Stephen. ‘More filters’ isn’t showing a field for people and I can’t locate a field for ‘commented on by,’ would you be able to give any more details? Many thanks in advance.

@Erin_Floyd - when you go to the advanced search (click search bar, then the little funnel[?] icon on the right), do you see a view like this:

You’ll want to make sure the “type” is Task (the filters will work for other things too but are mostly available through a task search). The results should show you different object types (tasks, messages, projects, etc.) that match your criteria in different tabs.
