when trying to assign task drop down show entire group

When i want to assign a task to a person with a private project it shows up everyone in the whole team even externals.

Is there a way to filter the drop down list to only show people already in the project?

Hi @Waye_Wynn_Lee, welcome to the Asana Community Forum! As it stands, it’s currently not possible to filter the drop down list when assigning a task, to only show project members. We don’t have immediate plans to implement this feature but in the meantime you can upvote for this request here: Assignee field should only show only project or team members!
