When clicking on “details” in a task, you will have several options to fill in.
One is called “description”. I would like to add that as a field along with “status”, “due date”, “completed on”…if possible
Do you mean that you want to be able to have Description appear as a column in List View? That isn’t possible in Asana itself, though it is possible with the free Asana2Go (disclaimer: I’m the creator):

I presume my text in the description will appear in the column in List View?
In the Interactive Table view, you can have a Description column to show the description in full, and.or a column to allow you to hover an icon for each task’s row to instantly see a tooltip of the full Description (with rich text) which allows for a much more compact table; your choice
