It is common practice by now in many apps (including Slack for example) to be able to edit the last comment of oneself by pressing the “Up” arrow key on the keyboard. Here’s a typical use case:
- User types a comment and presses “Cmd+Enter” to send it
- User sees that he has forgotten something or finds typo he wants to fix
- Users hands were just on the keyboard, so he wants to quick-edit his last comment
- User presses the “Up” arrow key and is in the existing edit mode
Would be amazing to see this feature, should be easy to implement given everything is there already. Just needs some testing to make sure not to interfere with other shortcuts.
