We are managing 22 properties and they all share the same tasks which are entered
Properties are in Custom Fields with drop down menus for status but are limited to 20 custom fields.
Any ideas how to solve? Or set up better?

I can think of two solutions to solve your issue:
Solution 1: You can have up to 20 custom fields/project, so if you multi-home all your tasks into 2 projects, this will automatically be able to increase your custom fields to 40!
Solution 2: You could re-organize your workflow and use 1 project per properties, instead of custom fields. I’m aware this solution would initially involve a lot of work, but in the long term, it’s probably the most scalable solution.
