Hi, we’ve noticed an issue when removing a user. After the user is removed, the task descriptions of some tasks previously assigned to them disappear.
For example: Log in - Asana.
This task used to have a description, but it became empty once the original assignee was removed.
Is there any way to recover the missing data?
@Michael_Tung1 Welcome to the Asana community and thanks for posting onto the forums but can you upload a screenshot of your example. The link you provided is not accessible this is what I see
anyone that is not a part of your organization/workspace will not be able to visit that link.
There used to be a lot of content in the description but it’s now empty after we removed the assigned user.
I think the description got erased when the task got moved to “xxx’s previously assigned tasks”.
@Michael_Tung1, Did you try clicking the link “Show 41 previous updates” and looking through them to see if/when there was a “changed the description - Show difference”? You can learn there when the description got wiped out by clicking Show difference to find what and when.
