Why is it that on the desktop site there is an arrow indicator to show that the task has subtasks or content in the description?..
…But this feature does not exist on the mobile app?
The feature on the desktop site should be on the mobile app as well. Without it, it is impossible to tell if a task has subtasks or content in the description without tapping into the task on the mobile app. This is very inefficient as:
- When you tap or swipe a task as complete on the mobile app, you might be missing subtasks or instructions left in the description (as there are no indicators like the desktop site);
- To avoid the issue with point 1, your alternative is to tap into every task to double check; this completely ruins the point of being able to tap or swipe tasks as complete quickly on the list view and forces you into a very inefficient process on the mobile app, i.e. tapping into every task, checking for subtasks / description content and going back out to the task list view
Also, it’s completely wacky that the feature was deployed on the desktop site and not the mobile app when it’s more useful on the mobile app than the desktop site …
Why? Because on the desktop site, you can quickly click a task and see the subtasks and description on the side panel where as on the mobile app you can’t…
Please roll out the same indicator that exists on the desktop site on the mobile app!
