One of the last steps in a project that I’ve created from a template is to update the template based on what I’ve learned during the project. Is there an easy way to compare the differences between a project and a template? For instance, I might update the instructions included in a task description or add a new task or rename an existing task. I would love to easily see these differences so that I can update the project template, as needed.

Something that I do is add a tag “New for template” or “Remove from Template (I keep these in the project and complete them) so that I can see which new tasks have been added. Updating dependencies becomes a little more complicated, but you create a notes custom field and take notes in that field for any updates you make to that task for the new template.
