Tasks assigned to you don't have dependency/project showing unless you're invited

I recently just noticed this.

When you have a task assigned to you that’s part of a project, the task doesn’t have a dependency unless you’re a part of the project.

This is very confusing, because you don’t know what project it belongs to in order to request access to it. The project should be there in the dependencies where you can click on it and request access.

@Colin_PB,

I’d like to note that this is probably a privacy issue and your request may not be able to be implemented as specified.

Perhaps it could be treated by Asana as they do other similar issues of references to tasks you’re not allowed to see the title of or users names. These often appear as some variant of Private so perhaps dependencies could be done similarly.

Ultimately, the creator of these tasks can head off such problems by anticipating access required.
