# Subtasks being automatically assigned to task assignee

That sounds like a bug.

[@Forum-team](https://forum.asana.com/groups/forum-team) could this be related to this critical bug?

I know it’s not the same, but it also seems like unexpected rule behaviour.

@Kriti5 if it isn’t related, best course of action would be to report it to support.
