When custom date fields were introduced, I created a “Start Date” field so that it was easier to add a start date by selecting it from the date I could sort by the calendar widget. I could sort the tasks in my project by date on the web but on the Android app, the only sort option was the old text based “Start Date” field that I created. I’m forced to keep entering a text based date yyyy-mm-dd along with setting the date with the calendar entry in order to sort by date on the app. Can sorting by the custom date field be implemented on the Android app?
